Keeping it Fresh Local Succulent
The brainchild of award-winning Chef Michelle de Jager, The Succulent is a living restaurant. Her food philosophy is simple: keep it fresh and local – think free-range chickens and freshly caught fish from Mosselbay. A lot of the ingredients used are also grown on the farm and in our very own hydroponics system. Furthermore, you can even buy local ingredients in the Deli.
Michelle is a qualified chef and a proud product of the Francois Ferreira Culinary Academy. Michelle is an award winning chef and have won regional competitions and was placed 3’rd in the National Young Chef’s competition. She is the Executive Chef of the Succulent restaurant situated on the ReedValley Estate.
